The Girls of Red Cedar Retrievers
Meet Our Female Labrador Retrievers

RCR'S Diamond in the Rough JH
"Jasmine"
Born 1/5/2024, Jasmine is a pretty special dog for our family. She is the 2nd generation of our chocolate lines, from our second litter of Leinies Lovin' Gracie Belle (Gracie) and HRCH Dairylands Thin Blue Line MH QAA (Swat). Chosen out of the litter and named solely by our daughter Cassidy, Jasmine is turning into a wonderful young dog in the house with the kids and out in the training field.
Jasmine is what we like to call our "pocket rocket". She is a whopping 39 lbs. full grown, but don't let her small size fool you- she can run with the big dogs all day long. She sits tall on marks and drives hard on retrieves through cover taller than her to get to the fall area and dig birds out with all her heart. She has great water attitude, swimming smooth and fast and always wanting to stay wet.
Jasmine is currently running double retrieves and learning to work together as a team on blinds. She accomplished her JH title at 18 months of age going, 4 for 4 on tests while making them look like a breeze. We plan to continue her hunt test campaign, taking her as far as she will go.
Once Jasmine turns 2 years of age, we plan to get her OFA certifications and begin our search for a stud worthy of this princess!

Nala's Past Litters
Nala JH X 5xGRHRCH Cash MH MNH - Spring 2024
Nala SH X SRSAC 8xGRHRCH UH Ice QAA MH MNH - Spring 2025
RCR'S Sweet Second Chance SH
"Nala"
Nala is out of Southfork's POW MIA SH of Southfork Retrievers and GRHRCH Willie MH of Lincoln Creek Labs. We chose to get a dog out of these lines based on intelligence, trainability and drive shown by the sire and dam. Without a doubt, Nala shows the same attributes. She is not only a very intelligent & high-drive dog that has made training progress very smooth and steady. She is by far one of the most even tempered, easiest dogs we have raised in our home and does absolutely wonderful around the kids.
Nala is becoming an accomplished dog in both the field and hunt tests. She now has multiple seasons under her belt and has been a pleasure to work with in both the waterfowl marsh and the upland field. In Summer 2024, Nala completed the final pass needed to obtain her Senior Hunter title with the AKC. We plan to continue her training and work towards obtaining her Master Hunter title within the next couple of years.
One way to describe Nala is the "total package". She not only has the intelligence, drive and biddability that is sought after to be a top-notch gundog but she also has the sweetest demeanor in the house. She is able to get along with everyone and has understood from a very young age when it is time to work, play in the yard, or when it is time to calm down in the house. Finally, to top it all off, she has the looks to melt anyone's heart.

Gracie's Past Litters
Gracie X 4xGMPR HRCH Cooper - Spring 2020
Gracie X HRCH MHR Finn SH - Spring 2021
Leinies Lovin Gracie Belle
"Gracie"
Gracie has given us 4 wonderful litters that have helped build the foundation for our breeding program. She is now retired from our breeding program and is looking forward to naps on the couch and no longer missing hunting seasons due to mom duties! We have kept a female out of her last litter (Jasmine) and have high hopes for her to join our breeding program and carry on Grace's legacy.
Gracie is a smaller framed, 60lb, lean female who has a passion for all things retrieving. Gracie has been carefully selected for her smaller handling size while maintaining a beautiful proportionality which makes her very unique. Her size makes handling her very manageable. She is compact and is easily lifted onto boat or duck skiff. We believe this size also lends itself to increased endurance in upland hunting as compared to large Labradors.
Gracie has a loving demeanor and immediately wants to play with any dog or person she meets. She does wonderful with children and we have the utmost trust in her; she is the epitome of a family dog. She has also become a very experienced hunter, pursuing all types of upland and waterfowl around the US and Canada.
